Creating a Parallel Universe of The Walking Dead with Midjourney
It seems that artificial intelligence tools will mark the year 2023. They started to be mentioned in the middle of 2022, but the results we have reached are exciting.

In summary, we are still at the stage of recognizing and exploring artificial intelligence tools. That’s why I experiment a lot.
What If?
Artificial intelligence image processing tools excite me when it comes to picturing improbable outcomes or unexperienced possibilities. My internal questioning process usually starts with “what if”.
While reading an article about The Walking Dead series, which I have been watching for years, I asked myself a question that started with this pattern. What if Rick Grimes was bitten by a zombie in the hospital? It is certain that we could not watch such a series. But what would TWD characters’ transformed profile look like? Although it is easy to imagine this, it is quite difficult, even impossible, for me to paint it but Midjourney can do that for me.
Let me not prolong any further. Following the short commands I entered, here are the results.
Are the results excellent? No. Can it be better? Definitely. However, it is exciting that Midjourney can visualize my idea in as little as 10 minutes.
Bonus : Morgan Jones
I didn’t want Morgan Jones to be bitten and turned into a zombie because he’s my favorite character 🙃 For this reason, the following image came up for his untransformed portrait.
Since these results excited me, I wanted to see the zombie universe that Midjourney would create. Here are the results;
As I changed the parameters I used in the queries I entered for Times Square invasion, I got images with different concepts. The results are as exciting for me as starting watching a new zombie series.
